BMW S58, G80/G82/G83, X3M, F97 X3M, F98 X4M, G87 M2

The S58 is an aluminum block with a spray-on iron coating on the cylinder walls. This allows the engine to have the strength and durability of a cast iron block, while still retaining the lightweight and heat-dissipation benefits of an aluminum block.

These pistons are a factory replacement and no modification will be needed such as; bore or hone. 

These pistons are made by CP-Carrillo to 5150 Autosport specifications using HD-forged high-strength aluminum, which allows them to withstand the higher cylinder pressures and temperatures generated by turbocharging.

2000HP Rating

If the cylinders aren't in good shape, then sleeving will required.

Please note, the Pro-Xtreme Piston is engineered to handle up to 2000HP, however, the Standard Wrist Pin can only handle 800-850HP. To exceed 850HP, it is a MUST to use Heavy Duty pins.
